It all began in 2013 when Esther Parks decided to follow her passion and launched Your Auto Buyer, the predecessor to StressLess Car. A long-time friend asked for help with purchasing a vehicle and Esther realized this is exactly what she wanted to do- help people and make the car-buying process manageable. “We took something that gave my friend a great deal of anxiety and made it fun. I want to do that for everyone!”
Right away, I knew the framework of Your Auto Buyer would incorporate two ideals: I was not going to charge the customer for my service and I was not going to spend a dime on advertising. I knew one customer would turn into two and so on.
“I think of all the moms juggling their time, and I want to make it hassle free for them. I think of the elderly and want to eliminate the fear they have. I think of first time buyers and want to fill them with knowledge of purchasing their first vehicle. I think about the husband and wife and want to help them have a positive car buying experience. I want to make it a StressLess experience for everyone.”
After more than 5,200 happy customers later, it was time to expand the business. Withe the goal of making it possible to help even more people find the car of their dreams, StressLess Car was born. “It allows customers to shop without the stress of being bombarded or taken advantage of at the dealerships.”
Esther Parks has been in the automotive business for over 25 years. She started as a salesperson and worked her way up to general manager. When her husband Stephen, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, she made the decision to leave the long days at the dealership and make time for what is important- family.
“Having a great deal of knowledge on a subject that most people hate and do not understand is a great benefit to have. I have put a great deal of dedication into what I do. I have had my fair share of struggles, believe me. But I have also learned many lessons from all that struggling and mistakes made along the way. I want people to benefit from me already making those mistakes and help customers avoid them in the future.”
Over the course of her career, Esther Parks has established herself as a strong businesswoman. Starting out with a handful of business cards, she has worked endless days to build her success. Esther found something that was a need for many people, figured out how to focus on her family and her business, and continued to grow both successfully.
